　　The Role:

　　As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will conceive, design and deliver innovative features that will be deployed to high volume consumer products. You will work closely with internal interdisciplinary teams and outside partners to drive key aspects of feature definition, execution and test. You will influence the technology decisions that will drive future products and features that directly affect our growth in this critical space.

　　In this role, you will:

　　Be responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering features for new and existing products

　　Investigate, prototype and deliver innovative solutions

　　Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software

　　Work with product management and cross-functional teams to build and ship technical solutions for the best customer experiences

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Guadalajara, JAL, MEX

　　Basic Qualifications

　　7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

　　5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

　　4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　10+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

　　4+ years of experience in Linux or Android platforms

　　Good understanding of Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL), Android or Linux frameworks

　　Knowledge on any of the domains like Audio, Media, Graphics, Display, System, Connectivity, etc.

　　Previous experience in automotive industry is a plus

　　Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

　　Ability to drive innovation and passionate about new technologies

　　Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
