This role is in the Central Third-Party Risk team to provide technology specific risk management consultation to the divisional teams for effective identification, mitigation and reporting of operational and strategic current and emerging risks.

　　In this role, you will: Provide risk guidance, oversight, and assurance services to divisional partners in alignment with the Vanguard's operational and strategic risk framework.Lead and assist the business in the development, implementation, and management of long-term risk management strategies in accordance with department goals and objectives, standard risk management policies and procedures, and the overall risk strategy.Involve analyzing information from internal and external sources of structured and unstructured data, controls, and risks. Oversee the application of the risk management framework and methodology for global divisional stakeholders. Ensure the divisional risk tools align with global risk policies and allow for efficient risk monitoring, identification, and reporting.Influence divisional risk leaders and senior risk managers to fully operate in alignment with risk methodologies and framework. Demonstrate thought leadership and subject matter expertise regarding divisional risk concerns and solutions.Provide consultation and assist in facilitating divisional projects related to the enterprise risk framework.Develop effective working relationships across Enterprise Risk Management and divisional boundaries to ensure focused and efficient enterprise support.Develop and maintain broad knowledge and awareness of the investment industry, risk management practices, and regulatory and/or policy changes. Serves as a subject matter expert on risk management discussions.What it takes:

　　Minimum of eight years related work experience. Experience in risk management and consulting preferred.Management Consultant experience preferred.Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.Professional Certification (CPA, CIA, CISI, MBA) preferred.Strong understanding of audit and SOC (processes) preferred.Strong relationship management, presentation, and influencing skills preferred.Strong knowledge of technology, data, and cyber preferred.Special Factors
