About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Revenue Accountant to joinour finance team. The Revenue Accountant will play a critical role in ensuringthe accuracy and integrity of our revenue recognition processes. The idealcandidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles,excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment.
What You'll AccomplishAssist in the review of sales contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 andcompany policies.Prepare journal entires and reconcile revenue related accounts on a monthlybasis.Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, including reviewprocedures and flux analysis for revenue.Conduct regular reviews of revenue recognition processes and procedures toidentify areas for improvement and implement best practices.Assist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentationand explanation as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal andoperations, to support the revenue processPrepare and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition policies andproceduresAssist in the implementation and enhancement of revenue recognition softwareand systemsSupport ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA(Certified Public Accountant) or progress towards CPA certification preferred.2+ years of public accounting experience working on public companies3-5 years experience with SAAS Revenue accounting requiredExperience with consumption requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skill, with the ability tointerpret complex contracts and financial data.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tightdeadlinesEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaboratecross-functionally and present information clearly and concisely.
Salary Range ($93,000 - 133,000)
The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salaryoffered within the range described will be based on the individualcandidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
