Working/Functional TitleSenior RCM Administrator
Position SummaryResponsible for leading and setting the vision for revenue cycle at MSU Health Care. Develops, implements, and monitors appropriate and measurable revenue cycle performance metrics / goals along with comparison to industry benchmarks. Works closely with clinical and finance stakeholders to ensure that high quality, high integrity, robust revenue cycle shared services are maintained to support the organizational strategic objectives and the achievement of margin improvement targets. Position must maintain an understanding of all revenue cycle areas (scheduling, registration, authorizations, referrals, coding, billing, documentation improvement, revenue management) to ensure successful operations. Partners with various areas of Revenue Cycle to establish and execute on automation strategy.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/SkillsKnowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or field related to employing unit; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in financial or accounting practices, developing research projects, funding and grant practices and/or experience in a field related to the area of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work HoursWork hours are typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM but may vary as necessary to accommodate clinic operations.
