The Opportunity
Adobe Connect Engineering team is looking for an exceptional Software Quality Engineering Manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is to lead a team of highly skilled engineers. The team is responsible for performance and quality of a highly available, business critical cloud solution which is used by a large and diverse user base for e-learning, webinar and collaboration workflows.
What you'll Do
Build outstanding things that matter:You'll work on a diverse and living toolset, solving problems for engineers and customers. Be an active participant in planning and crafting product features with the ability to view the application from a customer perspective and deliver a 5-star experience.
Have meaningful ownership:You'll make important decisions about how we grow and have a say in what we build next. You will supervise writing and performing reliable, maintainable code implementing test automation scripts and/or frameworks based upon feature requirements and design documentation, be a strong voice for the customer. You will analyze and understand the source code to establish test hooks for growing test efficiency and coverage. You shall also handle multiple challenging priorities in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment. You shall lead the process of building metrics to measure and monitor product performance.
Grow:You'll sharpen your skills, lead a team of engineers, and learn how to take ownership of important aspects of our system. You will also be responsible to build the careers of our outstanding engineers and grow them. Being an outstanding mentor is as critical to the job as being a manager who can deliver.
Collaborate:You'll love working in an environment that values collaboration. You will collaborate with various stakeholders like developers, product management, support, marketing and program management. You will also need to communicate with partners and customers.
What you need to succeed
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
14+ years of professional experience in ensuring product quality
Significant and demonstrated experience in engineering management positions with a focus on delivering Web based products.
Experience of driving rapid release cycles powered by automation.
Strong problem-solving skills needed to identify, research and resolve problems
At least 4+ years experience in people management role
Interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with global teams in different geos and cultures
Deep knowledge of the full software development process
Good knowledge of Basic of computer science fundamentals like, Data Structures / Algorithms
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
