  Position Summary:

  This position designs, develops, and executes Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction activities. This role will directly support internal manufacturing, assembly, and runoff departments and act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing methods, and the manufacturing floor. Quality Engineers are responsible for triage of non-conformant material, root cause analysis, and corrective action. Additionally, Quality Engineers are responsible for process development/improvement using structured problem-solving methodology including statistical analysis.

  Job Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  Develop, maintain, and improve processes as related to manufacturing methods and machine design

  Develop, maintain, and improve business processes

  Project management up to and including verification

  Holds an advanced degree in engineering, business, or related field

  Strong experience with GD&T

  Ability to train others and advocates for quality systems and problem-solving tools.

  Leads supplier management and development

  Leads facilitation of warranty claims

  Preferred Education/Training/Experience:

  Bachelor’s degre5+ years of experience, engineering background (ME, EE, IE, CE)

  5+ years of experience

  Professional Certificates, Licenses or Registrations:

  Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt

  Quality Engineer certification

  ISO Auditor certification

  Project Management Professional

  Computer Skills:

  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  Outlook

  Project Management Software

  SAP Modules: Quality Module

  Travel Requirements: Negligible
