Position Description Summary
APT Research is hiring Quality Engineer's to perform in-depth analysis of parts and materials used throughout the program to identify potential issues with non-conforming parts, participate in meetings, review boards, and working groups to ensure mission success. This person will work with an integrated team to identify, document, and resolve issues related to parts, materials, and processes that directly impact the quality, reliability, and longevity of critical national defense assets.

Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field.
7-12 years of direct Quality Engineering experience with high-tech, complex systems.
Able to work in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Security Clearance Requirement:
A Secret level security clearance is required
Preferred Experience:
Experience identifying and controlling Foreign Object Debris (FOD) areas.
Experience with Material Review Boards (preparing for and briefing).
Experience coordinating and performing supplier audits.
Experience with identifying need for closeout photos, ensuring photos are taken, and reviewing photos.
Familiar with supply chain management.
Experience with MDA Mission Assurance Provisions.
Experience with missile programs.
