Primary ResponsibilitiesOversees and coordinates the planning and implementation of structuralsteel projects. Responsible for managing the project productivity,schedule, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policies andpractices. Manages the projects including working with local team todevelop processes for delivering total steel solutions. Reads steel shopdrawings and structural drawings. Supervises the activity anddevelopment of Project Managers. Works with the Regional Manager inoverseeing asset management efforts, administrative support duties,quality control, and field operations management support Develops andmaintains customer relationships to enhance company\'s ability toprocure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.Monitors the overall safety and quality issues on the project. Assistswith the development and coordination of material and fabricationschedules and promotes their efficient use. Oversees all subcontractorand vendor contracts and associated processes and procedures. Performsspecial projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requestedfor the general support of the organization. Minimum QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or anequivalent combination of education and professional project managementexperience. Minimum ten years work experience performing similar primaryposition responsibilities and three years of experience in a managementrole exceeding performance expectations. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively withall levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organizesignificant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, materialdeliveries and job productivities. Proficient with Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Experiencedeveloping and delivering sales presentations and negotiating contractsin the construction industry.
