Amex GBT Security GRC team is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to define and drive information security and compliance initiatives for our industry leading corporate travel platform. You will build strong relationships with our partners, business, and technology teams and be empowered to work with everyone from individual contributors through senior level managers. You will partner with our team to drive complex initiatives focused on cybersecurity and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Manage cross-functional cybersecurity and compliance programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.

Provide hands on program management and support to Amex GBT Security GRC teams.

Perform risk management and change management.

Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.

Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Interface with Amex GBT Security and business owners for project requirements and scope.

Help drive project decisions to align with higher company initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

7+ years of Program/Project Management experience.

College degree or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience in one of the following: data protection, operational risk management, compliance, IT audit and implementation of control frameworks, information security, incident management, or other related field.

In-depth understanding and experience in two or more of the following: complex e-commerce applications, substantial real-time event and message processing, data lakes, cloud data processing, SQL and NoSQL data modeling.

Strong understanding of Agile SDLC implementation in proud eco-system including environments management, test automation, peer review, CI/CD, optimization, etc.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with critical issues, mentor and coach and/or persuade others on new technologies, new applications, or potential solutions.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
