About Senior Program Manager

  Reference #: 85347-358820Job Summary:We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee our programs, ensuring successful execution within customer schedules and budgeted profit targets. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in program management, technical expertise, and a strong ability to lead and organize complex projects.Essential Job Functions:Conduct final job reviews and address ongoing technical contractual requirements.Take ownership of program budget, schedule, monitoring, and goal completion.Establish program organization, structure, and priorities, including resource management and staff scheduling.Maintain continuous communication with customers to achieve program goals.Review and approve waivers, deviations before submission to the customer.Review PDR/CDR presentations, create sub-contract work breakdown structure, and develop a master milestone schedule.Effectively communicate program status within the organization.Keyword: shelter, project managementRequired Experience:

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  Problem Solving & Decision Making:Work involves complex activities requiring the development of new concepts and approaches.Considerable innovation and in-depth fact-finding and analysis are necessary to solve program problems based on thorough evaluation.Duties are broadly defined, and work is not completely standardized.Assignments permit freedom to select methods and approaches, with infrequent review to determine the status of objectives and projects.Accountability for results, with a focus on meeting program goals and customer expectations.

  Leadership:Requires frequent organization of resources and activities in large-scale projects.Exercise of authority, judgment, and motivation of others to accept guidance and direction.Acts as a team leader on large or complex projects, setting and modifying priorities as needed.Contact within the organization requires the exercise of authority, judgment, and the ability to motivate others to accept guidance and direction where their interests may diverge.

  Other General Abilities:Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as per government standards.Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisorsAbility to interact appropriately with the public when necessaryAbility to adhere to workplace rulesEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.BA/BS in a related discipline.5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment / Physical Requirements:Office environment.Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.Ability to perform repetitive motions (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.From: Kratos Defense
