  About the Opportunity

  Jacobs Engineering is the Nuclear Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield Ltd under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP).

  PPP is an exciting model to work in with Four world class organisations who have come together as one team, to create a clean and safe environment for future generations. The programme arrangement is set to deliver £7bn worth of major projects creating a lasting legacy through the long-term partnerships.

  We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join the Lightly Shielded Store Project (LSS1) to be based out of Birchwood.

  As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be taking a leading role on our projects to deliver the process design elements, including but not limited to key process engineering activities, process safety assessments and leading on HAZOPs and design reviews. You will need to ensure that our quality assurance processes are followed, whilst meeting project requirements and expectations of our clients.

  Your responsibilities will include:

  DSEAR Assessment, Process safety

  Producing Flowsheets, PFDs, EFDs, S&IDDs, Instrument Process Data Sheets, Process Data Sheets

  Designing for delivery/implementation and associated project construction and execution.

  Design for manufacture.

  Application of current standards within their own skilled arena and an overarching appreciation of multi-design interactions and interfaces

  Here's What You'll Need:

  Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional body (e.g. IChemE)

  Proven track record of leading process delivery on projects to meet deadlines and high-quality standards.

  Adaptable Process Engineering experience, and ability to use transferable skills across a wide range of projects and industries.

  Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

  Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

  A good knowledge of Process Design Health, Safety and Environmental (DHSE) issues and knowledge of key regulations (e.g. DSEAR, CDM, COMAH) is preferable.

  Experience of working in highly regulated environments would be advantageous
