Reference #: R-150589The Opportunity:Avantor is looking for a dedicated and creative Business Analyst Manager to support data/analytic optimization and efficiency efforts within the direct sourcing team.
The Business Analyst Manager will support the sourcing leadership team in developing a roadmap that establishes data structures and processes that measure performance (KPIs) and inform decision making across the enterprise. This includes interaction with numerous commercial organizations as well as supply chain, finance and quality. Key deliverables will be measurement tools for supplier performance monitoring, internal spend and analytical insights, category strategy and market benchmarking. Upon completion of several key objectives, the expected future opportunities would be as a sourcing manager, broader analytical and technology role within the global sourcing group or a commercial role (product management, marketing or sales) in an Avantor business unit.What we're looking for:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Advanced Professional Degrees strongly preferred
Experience: High performer with 3-6 years of top-tier project-based professional experience (eg performed such tasks as market research, due diligence, commercial functions (sales, pricing, product management), data analytics, and/or supply chain)

Problem structuring - Identify key issues, develop hypotheses and methodology to verify or refute them
Project management - Clearly scope and track projects, develop and assign workstreams, maintain steady pace, and ensure reliable delivery
Data analysis - Creatively obtain and vet data, develop and execute quantitative analyses with (potentially incomplete) data, cross-check results to identify potential inconsistencies or limitations
Business insights - Understand business implications of observations, interviews, and analyses. Develop business strategies and recommendations accordingly
Communication - Craft polished written communications and deliver oral communications of findings and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner
Influencing - collaborate positively with project stakeholders to secure support and implement recommendations in a fast-paced environment
