Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Job Description:
As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise by effectively planning, developing, and delivering scalable marketing campaigns that will help increase net new customers for our Sage Intacct and Sage X3 solutions within the Africa & Middle East region. This role will focus on industry campaigns, working closely and collaborating with many stakeholders across several functions, as well as the central shared services team. Measuring, analysing and reporting on campaign performance with a strategic mindset to continuously improve results is also key to this role as is understanding marketing funnel metrics. This role will require an analytical mind and the ability to deliver a variety of industry campaigns in the finance market, including events, webinars, direct media buys, email campaigns and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the campaign strategy for our industry campaigns for the medium finance product portfolio across 8+ core industries in multiple countries
• Design end-to-end campaigns in conjunction with supporting marketing functions including content, social, PR, SEO and media, as well as maintain alignment with sales, marketing operations, web management, information systems, and finance
• Negotiate with media partners across a range of industries to get the best campaigns and packages for Sage to provide an effective ROI
• Manage and adhere to a large allocated budget on a quarterly budget, ensuring investment is planned and committed in a timely manner on an ongoing basis
• Measure, analyze and report on campaign KPIs, with a focus on driving top of funnel leads as well as MQLs and opportunities
• Manage key stakeholders across multiple functions and regions to ensure delivery of master assets and campaign execution, including upward management, agencies and peers
• Outstanding project management to ensure the delivery of all campaigns in timescales required
• Agency management, ensuring cost and time effective delivery of excellence.
• Work with marketing operations to ensure tracking is in place to monitor and report on campaign performance
Skills, know-how and experience:
• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in B2B demand generation ideally within a similar industry with complex buying processes and relatively long sales cycles
• Development and execution of targeted, multi-touch campaigns and the vision to go beyond the brief to achieve results
• Your ability to ‘get things done’ and navigate corporate structures, working with multiple teams to achieve your goals is paramount
• Ability to learn and maximise use of multiple systems and technologies is also key – for example SFDC, intent data tools, reporting systems etc
• Understand how to use social media and digital media within your demand campaigns to drive results and be able to monitor performance
• Ability to get multiple stakeholders to buy into a vision and strategy for the campaigns
• Experience of working with both central services (matrix model) and multiple agencies is useful
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of business impact metrics and how to impact marketing metrics across the funnel
• Exceptional project and agency management
• Upward management to gain acceptance for plans and budgets
• Multi-touch, multi-dimensional marketing program design, creation and implementation with deep understanding of digital and social activities
