About Senior Operations Scheduler

  Position Summary

  Respond to internal/external event inquiries submitted through Campus Services various methods of requesting space reservations (servicelink, online portal, email request, etc.). Determine the allocation of reservable spaces throughout Campus Services venues to accommodate needs of clients including deans, faculty and departmental administrators, students, and high-profile non-university organizations. Meet with clients to assess their needs and advise clients on space usage and event expenses. Respond to general inquiries within the servicelink system, via telephone (Ask Campus Services hotline), in-person and via email.

  Qualifications

  Required Education:

  High School Diploma or equivalent

  Required Experience:

  2+ years scheduling or event experience.

  Preferred Experience:

  1+ years working in a conference center or other event facility within a large university setting.

  Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  Familiarity with facility operations, audio-visual equipment, PC hardware and software. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

  Additional Information

  In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $33.029. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
