Job Summary Coordinates and supportsbargaining unit employees in rotation groups with team leaders in themanufacturing, assembly, fabrication, distribution, and/or developmentof motorcycles or motorcycle component parts. Supports rotation groupsto achieve department metrics for safety, quality, delivery, cost andsustainability. Provides resources, tools, and direction needed for thevalue adders to be as effective and efficient as possible. Fosters aculture and workforce that is motivated for continuous improvement andprovides guidance and assistance to peers and others supervisors. JobResponsibilities Meets production schedules while executing manpowerplanning. Communicates and proactively works with union stewards to gettheir input and prevent and/or resolve issues early. Provides counsel toother supervisors and assists in troubleshooting production issues toensure delivery targets and production schedules are met and/orexceeded. Provides direction to a department on a shift and administersdisciplinary actions. Performs layered audits and prevents passingdefects to the next group. Sets the stage for the day (i.e. schedulechanges, previous shift performance, quality issues, etc) Providesfeedback to the team members to ensure good quality throughout thegroup.
