Starbucks is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed strategic marketer to own and drive how Starbucks Rewards come to life in each season – pumpkin, peppermint, and beyond. As a key member of the Seasonal Loyalty Marketing team at Starbucks, you will drive member engagement and acquisition by developing strategies that engage customers, drive profitable returns and are seamlessly supported by store partners.
The ideal candidate will develop seasonal strategies that meet Loyalty membership and financial goals and incorporate broader Starbucks marketing priorities. This person is a strategic thinker that drives consistent results. He/she uses data to ground their decisions and incorporates innovation and testing into their planning. They have a track record of delivering campaigns to market, persevering through roadblocks and building positive relationships with cross-functional partners.
As a senior manager, Seasonal Loyalty Marketing , you will…
· Develop strategy and plan for how Starbucks Rewards goes to market seasonally – balancing need to drive demand, generate profitable returns and staying on brand.
· Synthesize data across multiple mediums to deliver insights to inform offer/campaign and marketing strategy.
· Identify opportunities to optimize marketing tactics and incorporate new innovations.
· Present annual and seasonal strategies to Marketing leadership.
· Consult with enterprise on broader marketing strategies and ensure Loyalty’s priorities are represented.
· Foster cross-functional relationships to ensure that project timelines are met, messaging is consistent across channels, and conflicts are resolved or escalated in a timely fashion.
· Collaborate closely with retail representative and customer services to improve partners’ and customers’ offer experience.
· Provide creative teams with the tools and insights they require to develop world-class marketing initiatives that live up to the Starbucks brand.

· Business and financial acumen: Can analyze and present data and findings clearly, concisely, and accurately.
· Communication: Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross-functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes.
· Cross-functional collaboration and leadership: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group and recognizes the importance of solid relationships.
· Multi-tasker: Ability to balance multiple workstreams at one time with positive results.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience.
· Strategic planning experience within the marketing function in a large scale corporate or agency environment.
· Experience translating data into actionable insights.
· Experience leading cross-functional teams.
· Experience managing digital campaigns or initiatives that reinforced and/or built brand equity.
· Experience with budget management.
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group. Ability to navigate and influence laterally and cross functionally.
· Ability to solve complex problems and take new perspective on existing solutions.
· Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Progressive experience in marketing, advertising, or brand management – 5+ years
· MBA preferred
