This will be a hybrid in Madison, WI ORremote opportunity. Job Title: Accounting Analyst, Statutory ReportingThis position supports the completion of the quarterly and annualregulatory filings for multiple P&C companies via preparation ofassigned quarterly and annual statutory financial statementpages/schedules. Primary Accountabilities Candidate must have a minimumof 3 years experience. Prepares portions of the annual (January throughMarch) and quarterly (April through May) statutory financial statementpages, exhibits, supplements, and schedules Participates in thefinancial statement close process as needed, to include preparingjournal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations. Assists withthe analysis of account balances and income statement activity Assumesownership of the annual state form filings for multiple states andcompanies. Aids with requests from various state departments,communicating with them directly as needed. Coordinates with otherdepartments to timely obtain necessary information. SpecializedKnowledge & Skills Requirements Demonstrated experience providingcustomer-driven solutions, support, or service. Demonstrated experiencein communicating financial information. Demonstrated experiencemanaging/leading projects. Extensive knowledge and understanding of, anddemonstrated experience utilizing complex concepts related to accountingand accounting systems. Demonstrated experience with spreadsheetsutilizing complex functions and formulas. Solid knowledge andunderstanding of financial reporting Education, Licenses, and ExperienceBachelor\'s degree required, preferably in Accounting Certified PublicAccountant license preferred Public accounting experience preferredInsurance industry and/or statutory reporting experience preferredExperience in any following tools/technology preferred: AFRM (or otherclose process or recon management tools), Workiva (WDesk or WData),Workday, Alteryx, Sovos (Wings) The salary range for this position is\$80,000-\$85,000 annually.
