General Summary:

Supports business and product market needs and translates those needs into required resource allocation and Product Marketing deliverables to meet the company’s business goals and objectives. Responsible for planning and integration in areas including branding, product marketing promotion campaigns and events, public relations, and digital marketing. Partners with members of the Product Marketing team to complete work that aligns with the company vision. Applies knowledge of principles, best practices, and applicable market research to develop competitive product market strategies.

Bachelor's Degree, Engineering, Technical or related field.

Master's Degree in Engineering, Technical or related field.

4+ years of Product Marketing or related work experience.

2+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.

Competence Areas

Embedded computing, IoT market, Artificial Intelligence, Cellular Connectivity , Short range wireless technologies, semiconductor market.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Leverages knowledge of Product Marketing principles and best practices to manage products, projects, and programs.

Develops strategies and product positioning for Qualcomm product lines.

Conducts and evaluates competitive product analysis.

Outlines content creation and execution of marketing plans for Qualcomm products with minimal supervision.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and customers to promote products and technologies.

Creates overarching strategies and leads the integrated planning across cross-functional teams; meets regularly with peers and business unit to discuss product and go-to market plans.

Acquires knowledge of Product Marketing field and industry and competitive landscape by attending educational workshops and establishing personal networks within the organization.

Level of Responsibility:

Working under supervision.

Providing supervision/guidance to other team members.

Making decisions that may affect work beyond immediate work group.

Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

Exercising a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

Completing tasks that require multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals can document the steps necessary to perform the task.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR

Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR

High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
