AMZL aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.

  We are looking for a Senior Manager to work closely with a team of Marketing Manager, business development manager and business coaches to scale Delivery service Provider (DSP) Program. The program gives an opportunity to a diverse network of independent small business owners to develop a successful package delivery business with low start-up costs and access to Amazon's technology and logistics experience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital and offline marketing strategy to generate and nurture leads for the DSP program, owning delivery partner recruitment funnel and managing the partner performance for best in class delivery experience for Amazon customers.

  The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in building marketing strategy, business development planning and performance management. A ‘hands on’ person and a strategic thinker who is ahead of the curve with their marketing execution, leadership and planning and someone who can also drive local experimentation within to find out of the box solutions.

  A successful candidate will be analytical, resourceful, customer focused and is able to demonstrate a proven ability to work across a number of stakeholders under time constraints to meet deadlines and deliver results.

  Key job responsibilities

  • Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end: Design experiments, develop campaign strategy, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion to drive applications from the right entrepreneurial candidates across Japan

  • Identify and set up mechanisms for gathering market and customer data and insights

  • Manage agency relationships and performance

  • Develop recruiting and placement strategy to identify DSP prospects to meet program growth plans in market

  • Lead the team to oversee the entire candidate journey till launch

  • Ensure that we are adding high-quality DSPs to the program, leveraging insights to refine DSP selection

  • Work with team for evolving candidate and stakeholder experience through continuous process improvements

  • Lead the team to ensure effective Delivery partner capacity ramp-up, maintain delivery partners business and financial health through regular reviews

  *This role will require some travel (up to 30%)

  Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in marketing and or business development, vendor/partner relationship management

  • Business Level of English

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a related field.

  • Experience hiring & managing a high-performing team

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Proven ability to work independent and deliver results consistently in a sales or lead generation environment

  • Proven experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve program engagement

  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives

  • Leadership experience through direct reports or proven team leadership

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
