Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions. The BAI Senior Manager, India, will partner with India country commercial teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality strategic business decision support. As a member of the Business Analytics & Insights organization, this colleague will partner with Commercial Finance, Digital COEs, Chief Business Officer COEs and other analytics functions as necessary to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.
The person in this role will be a proactive business partner with country or multi-country leadership team. He/she will develop and deliver the analytics and insights plan to support the adaptation of global strategies and tactics for the local market. This will include performance measurement, customer analytics, customer journey development, customer data mining and market research, as needed to uncover insights.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Consultative partnership with India commercial Leadership as a strategic advisor, proactively engaging to identify and prioritize business challenges and develop analytically based solutions that enable informed decision making.Delivery of analytics & insights across the key business analytics domains:Primary Market Research - Framing of objectives, vendor identification & management, research parameters ownership, governance, oversight, outcome presentation & socializing (incl. strategic recommendations)Secondary data analytics - Ensure comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including competitive insights, industry trends, market access dynamics and portfolio performances. Accountability to highlight key risks, challenges, watch-outs, opportunities based on thorough analysis of market trendsPromotion effectiveness & insights - Guide effective use of promotional resources, including delivery of customer segmentation, promotion resource allocation analysis, FF sizing / structure analytics, omnichannel analytics etc.Advanced analytics including predictive modeling, data science and artificial intelligence, machine learning, working in collaboration with Data Scientists Launch Excellence - Analytical launch planning including market opportunity assessment, customer targeting, micro-segmentation, message / position testing, analogue analysis, new launch GTM strategy and launch KPI trackingCustomer analytics & insights - Development of customer profiling, personas, predictive behavioral analytics, channel and content strategy, customer 360Data reporting - Identification of new data resources and partnership with Digital and PHEX teamsSupport execution of continuous improvement in analytic approaches across all brands and business unitsDrive knowledge management to identify and maximize cross category synergiesChampion 'data first' decision culture within Pfizer India organization
PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Indian Pharma Market landscape, nuances, trends, GTM strategies and market prognosis across key therapy areas relevant for Pfizer India10+ years of research/analytics experience in Pharma Industry, experience with budget and resource allocation managementDeep understanding of Pfizer India business across portfolios and categoriesUnderstanding of Data Science capabilities and applications within Pharma industry, like RoI, predictive modeling, channel affinity modeling etc.Masters degree in quantitative discipline requiredUnderstands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Extensive experience in management of secondary data.
