Role Summary
Accountable for:
Meet 100% compliance with all applicable Health and Safety laws & regulations and Pfizer EHS Standards on Occupational health.Optimise systems and/or equipment in term of performance (e.g., productivity, cost improvement).Initiate relevant workplace health and wellness activities / projects.Will be accountable for delivering & developing an Occupational Health service, not limited to occupational illness / injury monitoring & prevention, occupational health risk assessments, health surveillance provision, ownership of case management, wellness projects including vaccinations, reviewing the management system and its performance metrics through regular assessments/audits, and addressing non-conformances of the system in a timely manner.

Location: Sandwich, with flexible working in line with 'Log In For Your Day' principals.Time type: Full time equivalent of role is 37 hours per week, this position is being offered on a job share basis (2-3 working days minimum).
Tasks
Ensure Company complies with applicable regulatory laws and regulations and Global Colleague wellness medical.Support standards in Occupational Health Management & Workplace Injury Compensation.Develop occupational health and wellness policies and/or procedures and ensure smooth implementation and organize health educational and wellness activities to promote health lifestyle.Develop and manage annual workplace health, wellness programs and colleague wellness budgets.Co-ordinate with local people experience team to arrange for all pre-employment check-up for all potential hires and advise PX on suitability of employment based on medical reports.Provide case management & signposting to health benefits for all colleagues on health-related issues to aid management of sickness absence.Manage site medical supplies, equipment and safe keeping medical records, workplace injury/illness records, health surveillance records etc.Work closely with our main stakeholders to drive increased business productivity & improve/maintain colleague health (inclusive of health benefits).Use & develop appropriate technology use for medical support & record keeping for routine notes & business reports / stakeholder engagement e.g., Cority / Microsoft office.Contribute towards business resilience plans & processes from a health perspective.

Report to UK Colleague Wellness DirectorLiaise and interact with EMEA (European) & Global medical team to leverage on practice and guidance, and resourcesLead and liaise with regulatory agencies in terms of site point-of-contact, follow-up, and correspondences
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
NMC registered Staff Nurse or equivalentOccupational Health Nurse certificate is a requirement - Diploma / degree in OH / Public Health nursing or equivalentEntrance onto Part 3 of the NMC register as a SCPHN / OH branch is desirableCandidate with evidenced experienced of such a previous role / work experience is essentialGood knowledge and application of relevant regulatory laws and regulations and codes of practice is advantageous
