We are a global organization, with research and development labs based in Hamme, Belgium, Seattle, WA and Milan, Italy. Our development portfolio is focused on automation solutions in software workflows, matrix sortation and storage solutions, and mechanical singulation that provide broad extensibility across Amazon businesses.

　　We build the Robotics solutions that have enabled the efficiency that Customers have come to expect from Amazon's retail business.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Provide leadership to a group of high performing engineering teams including mechanical, electrical & controls design engineering

　　Support product and process design to deliver highly reliable, easy to assemble, cost effective automation solutions that can scale Amazon's Operations business globally.

　　Ensure that all key deliverables meet deadlines & are of the high quality ensuring program requirements are met or exceeded.

　　Partner with key stakeholder groups (both locally & globally) including strategic sourcing, manufacturing, finance, support and quality teams to deliver Mechatronics solutions that reduce cost & improve the customer experience.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelors in an engineering discipline

　　7+ years experience in a strategic role leading a mechatronic engineering organization focused on development of high-tech automation solutions.

　　Leadership experience managing multiple mechanical & electrical hardware engineering teams

　　Excellent written & verbal skills, capable of building strategic plans & influencing cross-functional teams to support innovation of our future technology roadmap

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Demonstrated experience and success developing & deploying automation, robotics or mechatronics solutions over a global footprint

　　A track record of growing, retaining & developing high performing engineering talent

　　A history of building a business case for new product development & influencing across all levels of an organization to deliver advanced solutions.

　　-Expertise in implementing world-class engineering processes, tools & procedures
