The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.SENIOR LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Supervise and manage all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including:- Proposal preparation- Develop a proposed project fee- Reports and studies- Design and construction documents- Manage subconsultants- Scheduling, coordination, and budgeting-Construction Management-Funding Experience (preferred)* Provide design and permitting of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, sanitary lift stations, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects.* Balance performing design work and business development efforts.* Project/task and client management.* Ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships.* Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource and site/civil engineers.* Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.* Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.* Ability to develop junior staff.* Coordinate with subconsultants.* Strong written and oral communication skills.* Provide professional sealed plan sets for clients.SENIOR LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:* Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering* 10+ years of related experience* Ohio PE license required* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D requiredSENIOR LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER KEY COMPETENCIES:* Analytical problem solving* Continuous learning* Interpersonal communication* Positive professional attitude* CollaborationLJB offers competitive compensation packages, which includes paid time off, a 401(k)/profit sharing plan, tuition reimbursement, flexibility, and mobility.
