The Role
Kyndryl seeks a Senior Lead to bolster our US Tax Compliance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting tax return preparation, payment processing, deadline monitoring, and maintaining meticulous workpapers for audits. This opportunity offers exposure to diverse tax disciplines within a vibrant corporate environment, fostering professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on managing internal and external data essential for tax filings (estimates, extensions, and returns).
Conduct initial reviews of tax filings and associated computations prepared by external service providers.
Process estimated, extension, and return payments along with tax filings.
Partner with external service providers to ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and internal documentation requirements.
Manage and handle correspondence with external governmental bodies, drafting responses to notices and information document requests.
Conduct necessary research on pertinent tax statutes, regulations, and case law.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of tax ledger accounts.
Organize, process, and track US tax-related applications and approvals.
Assist in US withholding tax compliance, including monthly intercompany reconciliations and collaboration with the accounts payable team.

Who You Are
At least 3 years of corporate tax compliance in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a private or corporate tax department.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting.
Proficient communication, leadership, and project management skills, including a track record of completing administrative tasks.
Ability to work autonomously, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial ledger systems, preferably SAP S4/HANA.
CPA and/or master’s degree in taxation is preferred.
Familiarity with tax research tools and compliance software.
This position is partially remote, with a preference for working from the office once a week. Our office location is at 2 International Dr, Rye Brook, NY.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $89,030 to $125,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan
