　　Job Overview:

　　The Aveva Diagrams Administrator is responsible for set-up, configuration, and support of Aveva’s Diagrams application for project execution

　　Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

　　Aid with requirements gathering to understand application configuration and project information requirements

　　Set-up, configure, and deploy AVEVA Diagrams Administration based on project requirements, including creating symbology, filters, reports, system maintenance, etc.

　　Upgrade old projects to newer version

　　Conversion of drawings from different tools to AVEVA Diagram

　　Setup AVEVA Diagram projects on servers and deploy for end-users using AVEVA Administration module

　　Produce setup documentation detailing the setup, User Work Instructions for “Best Practices”

　　Work with other AVEVA admins (E3D, Engineering) to establish a Unified engineering environment

　　Help develop automation enhancements as needed

　　Design accurate system drawings, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirements

　　Monitor and maintain Diagrams databases (and Visio Files) in AVEVA Global Environment for multi-location executions

　　Transfers, reports, MTO downloads, data integrity, etc. including the customization of reports as per project requirements.

　　Maintain and verify daily backup routines

　　Trouble-shoot and solve application problems to ensure data & project integrity

　　Create audit requirements and periodically check for design quality and conformance with project information requirements

　　Provide training and support

　　Assist in developing department and project specific drafting methods and standards

　　Develop detailed project work instructions for users

　　Provide user training & best practice sessions to users

　　Work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support

　　Essential Qualifications and Education:

　　Demonstrated project experience in setting up, configuring, administering, and supporting Aveva Diagrams

　　Certified AVEVA Diagrams Administrator is preferred

　　Knowledge of PML Programming and DABACON queries considered an asset

　　Preferred Qualifications and Education:

　　4+ years’ experience in providing engineering design application support and administration in the Oil and Gas/Petro Chemical Industry

　　Other AVEVA Applications experience (e.g., Engineering, E3D, Asset Information Manager (AIM), AVEVA P&ID) considered an asset.

　　SmartPlant P&ID exposure / experience considered an asset

　　Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications and engineering data integration software packages.

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Strong MS-Office skills

　　Knowledge of Server side deployment will be considered an asset

　　Ability to speak English and Spanish considered a plus
