The ideal candidate assistswith the design, build, implementation and support of serverinfrastructure and related system software and hardware, utilizing toolsand products deployed on multiple technology platforms. Excellentcommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to workin both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are vital. Thisposition may be filled at another level depending upon individualqualifications. *This position offers a blend of working from home andin the Madison, WI or Cedar Rapids, IA office. The individual mustreside in either Iowa or Wisconsin. What you will do * Coordinatesdepartmental projects and the design, evaluation, recommendation,building, testing and maintenance of medium to large computing servicesand writes specification documents for these systems. * Responds tosupport tickets and resolves technical issues escalated through HelpDesk Help Desk within specified timeframes, uses troubleshooting toolsand procedures to resolve issues, and maintains defined service levels.* Provides leadership and guidance for resolution of moderate tocomplex operational issues. * Complies with local, state, andgovernment regulations such as SOX, NERC CIP, FERC, and TSA. *Maintains disaster recovery plans and coordinates the planning andexecution of disaster recovery drills. * Leads creation and maintenanceof technical documentation related to hardware/software in clientcomputing environment as well as training materials for end users. *Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancementsand/or alternatives. * Participates in the usage of Agile processes togather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver products. * Assistsother teams and helps manage relationships with outside vendors. *Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy\'s Valuesand helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build strongercommunities. Education Requirements * Bachelor\'s Degree Emphasis ininformation technology or related area Preferred. Required Experience *6 years of experience in PC support in a networked environment,including system hardware and software support * Advancedadministrative experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems andsoftware, standard application packages, imaging software, profilemigration techniques, client computing hardware, peripherals, andgeneral PC troubleshooting and problem resolution Preferred Experience* Bachelor\'s Degree -Emphasis in information technology or relatedarea. * Experience with one or more Linux operating systems. *Experience and/or interest in cloud-based technologies such asTerraform, Ansible, or Red Hat Open Shift. * Experience withGit/GitLab.
