About Senior HR Advisor

  Here at GXO, we have recently implemented a new HR structure for our Drinks Business Unit and are now on the lookout for HR Professionals that excel at implementing new processes and setting high standards. This position will give you maximum opportunity to develop and really make your mark!

  We are on the lookout for a experienced SeniorHR Advisor to join us at our Livingston site supporting our Drinks Business Unit. You'll lead the on-site HR presence to provide efficient and effective support to the site team. This is a standalone role who will be the site lead in all people processes and support the delivery of the people plan.

  This is a Permanent full time role working Monday to Friday however flexibility is required - this is logistics after all!

   Pay, benefits and more:

  We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.    What you'll do on a typical day:

  Build harmonious relationships with any Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency

  Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relation issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated

  Take the lead on complex ER issues

  Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required

   What you need to succeed at GXO:

  Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment dealing with ER and recruitment activity as HR Advisor

  Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements

  Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels

  Strong in systems; HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel

  A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work both in a team and with minimal supervision
