Full time 100% FTE
Weekly on site availability required POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Manage and lead some of our highest visibility projects and initiatives
Interact with and make recommendations to executive and physician leaders for critical projects
Leverage your communication and project leadership skills to influence leaders, employees and teams to achieve intended goals DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Strategy Division leads strategy development, business development, service delivery planning and execution for UW Medicine, inclusive of Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center and in collaboration with integrated partners such as Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Valley Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a critical resource in supporting, managing and driving large and high visibility strategic projects and initiatives across the enterprise
Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business through the full project life cycle from initiation to implementation
Employ a strong blend of technical/process redesign skills and leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Clear and effective communication in materials, presentations and interactions with stakeholders REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), or related field of study
At least 9 years of demonstrated success/results in a Project Management managing high visibility projects
4+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, employees and teams to work toward deploying a different future state
Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
Proven experience motivating high-performing individuals; creating inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership.
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
