Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Planner, we'll count on you to:* Plan, organize and manage all phases of planning work for one or moremajor projects* Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature professional judgment inanticipating and solving unprecedented planning and design phases of a project* Act in an advisory capacity on administrative, technical and regulatoryaspects of architecture planning* Oversee development and implementation of plans for the utilization of landand physical facilities of cities, counties and metropolitan areas* Ensure that planning services are commensurate with professionalstandards, client requirements and corporate objectives* Interface with Project Managers to determine specific project staffing needs* Perform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field* 12+ years related experience* Strong organizational skills* Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction ofbuildings* Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved inproduction of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications* Certification by the American Institute of Certified PlannersWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also aboutwhat you do and how you do it.
