Senior Global Supply Chain Planner Locations: Arden Hills, Minnesota or Valencia, California Hybrid position working onsite andremote About the Role: At Boston Scientific, the Senior Global Supply Chain Planner develops, maintains, and controls the master production schedule in accordance with the corporation's strategic business plan. Engages in special build and inventory analysis, such as obsolescence projections. Serves as the main interface between Manufacturing, Marketing, and Supplier Development, as well as the main source of information regarding forecast and schedule changes within the Supplier Development Group. Acts as a major contributor in the operation's planning process. Your Responsibilities Include: Develops, maintains, and controls a realistic master production schedule by balancing marketing requirements with manufacturing capacity and parts availability. Perform "What if" analyses to aid in optimal scheduling, priorities and decision making. Assists production supervisors with the implementation of the production schedule. Prepares reports, presentations, and graphs with monthly operating summaries for planning and execution of meetings. Attends and participates in Forecast, Allocation, Inventory, Supplier and Delivery meetings. Communicates and follows up on issues related with components availability. Communicates production planning issues to relevant areas as Marketing, Production Control, Customer Service, etc. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Business 5+ years working in Operations and/or Supply Chain related functions. Experience using SAP or other ERP system.
