  Overview

  Senior GEOINT Scientist & Technologist (MEF)

  Bowhead seeks a SeniorGEOINT Scientist & Technologist to support our Marine Expeditionary Force G-2 Intelligence Operations Center Support Services contract in Camp Lejune, NC. TheGEOINT Scientist & Technologist will focus on mobility modeling, geospatial inference, and forensics on GEOINT data, as well as protection from threats to GEOINT data and methods.

  Responsibilities

  Apply knowledge of geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial intelligence.

  Conduct multi-INT research, conduct descriptive and predictive analyses, populate and exploit intelligence databases, and produce and disseminate intelligence products.

  Analyze geospatial imagery and spatial and/or temporal information, evaluate research performance metrics, and work with scientists on research projects

  Coordinate testing & evaluation of research efforts and transition research into operational environments

  Collaborate with DoD agencies on research projects in relevant areas

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree and five to ten (5-10) years' experience

  Strong knowledge of GEOINT and the ability to validate and verify adherence to policies and regulations for policy formulation

  Illustrate proficiency in advising and facilitating strategic planning and policy development, emphasizing the delivery of expert strategic level support in order to ensure the formulation of well-informed strategies, leading to effective policies and successful business outcomes.

  Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

  Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

  Physical Demands:

  Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds

  Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

  SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. U.S. Citizenship required for Top Secret/SCI clearance access.
