　　Performs general food service work in the preparation and service of food and care of the food service area. Responsibility for varied tasks, possibly including minor supervisory duties. Work is performed under supervision, within established procedures.

　　Operate and clean food service equipment without supervision.

　　Perform routine tasks consistently.

　　Exhibits the ability to clean and sanitize with thoroughness and consistency to achieve an acceptable level of sanitation while performing custodial duties in the kitchen and food prep areas.

　　Knows and applies food safety policies and positively influences co-workers.

　　Supervise and participate in food preparation, meal presentation, front-of-the-house maintenance, and cleaning.

　　Take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers.

　　Perform cash handling procedures as needed.

　　Train workers in food preparation, equipment use, customer service, sanitation, and safety procedures.

　　Control inventories of food, equipment, small wares, and report shortages to designated personnel.

　　Supervise operation, if assigned by immediate supervisor.
