About Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Functions

  The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Functions position is responsible for enterprise-wide financial deliverables and analysis across Ecolab's corporate functions. This role reports to the Finance Manager and is a key partner to executive functional leadership, division finance and accounting leaders, and the corporate planning & analysis team. What You Will Do: Cost center and portfolio-based accounting, including posting journal entries and account reconciliations Perform monthly close and forecast activities Support the annual plan process for operating expense and capital expenditures Develop and maintain tracking of cross-functional financial metrics for internal and external presentations Coordinate and deliver key monthly reporting packages Interpret monthly financial results; research, understand, and explain variances Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for executive-level presentations and to support decision making, including providing insights and recommendations to Finance leadership and Function leadership Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience Preferred Qualifications: Functional accounting experience such as cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, and/or public accounting is valuable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with ability to efficiently organize and prioritize competing priorities Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to develop, implement and interpret financial models Potential to grow beyond the current role Proficient in Excel and mining large datasets Possess a high level of integrity #LI_Hybrid Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.to see our benefits.
