Senior Finance Analyst 

　　Role Summary 

　　Our client is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their team. The Senior Finance Analyst must be comfortable navigating operational databases, Hyperion Essbase, and Power BI and then leverage them to build reports that help the business meet our financial objectives. The ideal candidate is receptive to user feedback and eager to iterate if necessary to gain user adoption. They will also have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

　　Key Results Area 

　　Determine the best approach to gather, manipulate, analyze, and present data 

　　Develop and maintain metrics, reports, and statistics that are actionable company-wide 

　　Assist with the development of forecast modeling and dashboards 

　　Collaborate with the team to develop enhanced analytics 

　　Analyze business performance, evaluate KPIs, trends, and market condition analysis 

　　Budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasting, and improving inefficiencies 

　　Creating an annual budget, obtaining approvals, tracking and reporting progress 

　　Financial analyses explaining variances in budget and forecast along with business trends 

　　Skills & Qualifications 

　　A minimum of 5 years of work experience in finance or business analytics 

　　Strong knowledge of database structures and data mining techniques 

　　Highly proficient in Excel, Power BI, Hyperion Essbase, and ability to learn new systems 

　　Robust analytics and problem-solving skills 

　　Prior experience with financial modeling is preferred 

　　Ability to work independently and with others 

　　Previous work as a financial analyst in the supply chain and logistics space would be ideal 

　　Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines
