We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Mixed Reality to support Mixed Reality (MR) business focused on Defense and Commercial programs. Join an agile and collaborative team focused on current and future iconic products.

  Delivering unit, revenue and market share targets

  Responsibilities

  Partner closely with cross-functional teams on long range planning, budgeting, forecasting, andgo to market execution across a portfolio of programs.

  Collaborate with stakeholders on decision making, forward looking strategy and go to market execution. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving world-class business execution for one of Microsoft’s largest customer contracts.

  Provide operational excellence landing effective and efficient finance processes or MR programs . Creating processes and decision frameworks that improve business health and profitability.Manage the budgeting, forecasting and close cycles, accountabilityensuring timelines are met, minimize variance and drive predictability.

  Oversee Financials, including overall Profit and Loss (P&L) management and business reviews .Financial performance reporting, define key performance indicators that connect product roadmaps and financial commitments, and deliver explanations of results, variance, and strategic plans to optimize return on investment.Contributes to monthly business review (MBR) and runs rhythms regularly to identify what is working and what is not and drive improvements accordingly.

  Lead simplification and standardization of processes and reporting. Conduct comprehensive assessments of processes and framework gaps,and drive to close the gaps.

  Develop relationships with finance teams, engineering and product teams, operations teams that fosters an environment of collaboration and information exchange.

  Required/Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

  OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

  OR equivalent experience.

  Other Requirements

  This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under U.S. export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, or other protected status (e.g., under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)) for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees may verify status using other documents, where applicable.Preferred Qualifications

  10+ years finance related work experience.

  Project management abilities with experience creating alignment among critical stakeholders.

  Experience collaborating with other team partners in engineering, finance operation, accounting, and/or supply chain teams.

  Experience managing through ambiguity

  Experience influencing, establishing credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization.

  Ability to operate and thrive in a fluid/uncertain environment.

  Able to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced change management- Fail fast and learn.

  Exceptional financial analysis & modeling skills. This role requires a hands-on approach, and the individual should be comfortable in rolling up his/her/ their sleeves and diving in.

  Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 - $213,200 per year.
