　　Introduction

　　GlobalFoundries Fab1 is seeking an experienced engineer to work within the Unit Module Development (UMD) team in Dresden Germany. The individual candidate for this position will be a key member of the FAB1 Manufacturing Team and will work together with FAB1 Technology Development, Module Engineering and Operations and other key partners of the Manufacturing Engineering Organization. The candidate will represent the unit process area Thin Films / PVD in the team.

　　Your Job

　　Technical leadership and guidance for Fab1 Manufacturing teams for the respective area of expertise

　　Coordination and execution of Unit Process Development for the respective area of expertise

　　Providing assessments in respect to technical requirements for new or to be transferred technologies and technology optimization in collaboration with internal and external partners

　　Identifying areas of improvement, setting up, guiding and leading projects for solutions for the respective area of expertise

　　Stakeholder for module internal process changes to ensure technical excellence

　　Stakeholder for the manufacturing organization in councils and boards

　　Coordination of activities of the manufacturing organization for specific programs / projects in scope of technology development and qualification

　　owns new product introduction and technology optimization in their areas in deep collaboration with their colleagues in the modules

　　supports efficient customer communication on new product introduction.

　　Required Qualification

　　Technical degree BA / MBA or equivalent

　　Long lasting experience in the semiconductor industry within module process engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing control or manufacturing quality

　　Fluent in English Language – written & verbal

　　Excellent people & project management skills

　　Excellent presentation skills

　　Excellent team player

　　High personal and professional integrity
