Onsite role based in Montbonnot, Grenoble.

In this role you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a multidisciplinary and innovative environment, working closely with local and international teams of Stryker. You will have direct contact with our external partners in the healthcare sector (doctors, surgeons, etc.) to develop the prostheses of the future!

This role is for creative and innovative engineers with experience in medical devices product conception and development.

What you will do:

Lead the design of implants and associated instrumentation, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, compliance, and timeline goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure interactions with groups of designer surgeons (contracts, organization and facilitation of meetings) from the beginning to the end of the project.

Act as the primary RD contact within the project team, ensuring technical solutions align with project strategy and stakeholder needs (design review/meetings / technical design review).

Create and maintain design documentation, supporting regulatory submissions and intellectual property reviews.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Work with RD, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure project success from concept to launch.

Plan and execute design verification and validation activities to ensure device safety, regulatory compliance, and performance standards.

Establish the budget and control the RD expenses of the project for which he is responsible

What you need:

Mandatory:

Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in product design, mechanical product conception and project management.

Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomechanical engineering or any other related discipline.

Experience working with CAD software (CREO).

French bilingual or native.

English bilingual or professional level.

Preferred :
