Eaton’s ES AMER Sector Integration division is currently seeking a Senior Engineer. This position will be located at our Eaton location in Pittsburgh, PA (Moon Twp) and offers a HYBRID work schedule. You must be able to relocate to Pittsburgh PA (Moon Twp). Relocation assistance is being offered for this role.

　　The expected annual salary range for this role is $85500.0 - $125400.0 a year.

　　The Senior Engineer will be part of a global team of security experts driving cybersecurity initiatives in Eaton product solutions.

　　The Senior Engineer will support our Product Cybersecurity CoE mission by performing research and development, product/solution evaluations and design reviews, coding and scripting and procedure development for new cyber tools and automation, scanning and associated analysis. Duties will also include managing lab environments and small projects, idea/concept generation, and participating in product assessment planning and reviews.

　　Qualifications:

　　Required Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Security, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution

　　Minimum of 4 years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and Docker container

　　Knowledge of Computer system security technologies, Symmetric and Asymmetric cryptography, PKI, X509 certificate generation, PKCS standards.

　　Experience in hosting a container image into Azure Cloud; Experience in Azure Key Vault, Experience in REST APIs.

　　Must be able to relocate to Pittsburgh PA area. Relocation assistance is being offered

　　Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Development of embedded software

　　Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, network protocols and Access Control (i.e., User Authentication and Identity Management)

　　Ability to understand technical security concepts in depth and be able to apply those concepts to Eaton products for cybersecurity assessments.

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Skills:

　　Coding and testing of specification of Eaton product PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) interface system for use cases such as code signing, secure boot, device PKI etc.

　　Take part in architectural reviews of the solutions such as secure boot, device PKI etc. on various hardware and software platforms.

　　Automating the cryptographic certificate and signature generation, access control workflows, Development of interfaces between enterprise PKI and DevOps, container image creation and securely deploying it into Azure cloud environment.

　　Building tools, scripts, and automation frameworks around security to achieve Eaton-scale impact
