  Job Summary:

  We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary technology leader to head our Technology and Global Services Business Partner function for the Greater Asia region in the medical devices sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of digital and innovative technology trends in healthcare, a proven record of creating and implementing technology strategies and complex problem solving, extensive experience in multinational companies, and a demonstrated ability to perform well in a complex matrix organizational structure. This role will be crucial in shaping the future of our regional organization by leading technology foundational and transformation initiatives for better growth, commercial excellence, and operational efficiency. The candidate will manage a team of IT regional business partners including information security and work with regional and global teams to provide technology solutions to the region aligned to regional and enterprise strategies and roadmap. The candidate will be part of the Regional Leadership team accountable to the Regional President and Global TGS Leader.

  Key Responsibilities:

  As the Regional IT Business Partner head, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in delivering high-quality and cost-effective technology solutions that support the medical devices business in the region. You will collaborate with global IT leadership, regional business leaders, and external partners to align the regional IT strategy and roadmap with the global IT vision and the business goals.

  As a strategic partner and advisor to the regional business leaders, you will understand their needs and challenges, and provide them with effective and efficient IT solutions that enable business growth and operational excellence. You will manage the IT portfolio, prioritizing the IT initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and alignment with the regional and global IT strategy and roadmap. You will oversee the execution of the IT projects, ensuring that they meet the scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. You will also ensure that the IT services are reliable, available, and secure, meeting the service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets.

  You will also play a key role in driving digital transformation and innovation in the region, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to create value for the customers, patients, and stakeholders. You will ensure that the IT solutions are compliant with the relevant healthcare regulations and quality standards, as well as the corporate policies and procedures. You will manage the IT budget, governance, risk, and security for the region, and monitor the performance and satisfaction of the IT services and projects.

  You will leverage the best practices, standards, and methodologies to optimize the IT processes and systems, such as IT service management, project management, change management, and agile development. You will implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and security of the IT operations. You will also drive the adoption of new technologies and capabilities that support the digital transformation and innovation agenda of the region.

  As a people leader, you will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT team and across the organization. You will also develop and coach the IT talent in the region and build a diverse and inclusive IT workforce.

  As a business partner, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the region, such as the regional president, the regional commercial leader, the regional functional leaders, and the country general managers. You will communicate effectively and proactively with them, providing them with regular updates, insights, and recommendations on the IT strategy, roadmap, portfolio, and performance. You will also solicit and incorporate their feedback and inputs to ensure that the IT solutions are aligned with their expectations and needs.

  You will participate in the regional leadership meetings and forums, representing the IT function and perspective. You will also engage with the global IT leadership and peers, sharing the regional IT achievements, challenges, and best practices. You will leverage the global IT resources and capabilities to deliver the regional IT solutions and align the regional IT plans and activities with the global IT standards and guidelines.

  As a budget manager, you will manage the IT budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while considering the unique budgetary challenges. You will optimize the IT budget by identifying and pursuing opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and value realization. You will leverage the global and regional IT sourcing and procurement strategies, negotiating and managing low-cost options for the region. You will collaborate with the regional finance leader and team, providing them with accurate and timely information and insights on the IT budget and performance. You will also work with the global IT finance function, aligning the regional IT budget and reporting with the global IT financial framework and standards. You will participate in the IT budget review and approval processes, presenting and defending the regional IT budget proposals and requests.

  As a vendor Manager, you will manage the relationships and partnerships with the IT vendors and service providers in the region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions. You will use your communication and negotiation skills to establish and maintain trust and collaboration with the IT vendors and service providers, as well as to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience in Asia Region, with experience in senior roles in multinational corporations, including at least 5 years in a senior business partner role. Medical industry experience though preferred is not essential.

  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of technology strategy development and execution.

  Experience and ability to build strong relationships with country general managers, regional and functional business stakeholders, and executives on a regional and global level, and influence decision-making.

  Proven experience in developing and implementing digital strategies that drive business growth and innovation. Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in a healthcare context.

  Experience in managing large budgets, complex vendor relationships, and procurement strategies across regions.

  Good experience in coordinating strategies, roadmaps and execution across IT Applications, Infrastructure, Shared Services, Information Security teams.

  Good cross-functional experience including commercial, supply chain and logistics, product management, corporate functions.

  Good understanding of global and regional governance, risk management, information security, shared services particularly within multinational organizations.
