The LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Customer Marketing team is looking for an experienced marketing leader to drive our efforts to go deeper with top customers and flex LinkedIn’s offering to meet their needs. This role will lead a team of 30 marketers across the globe in working hand-in-hand with our sales partners, developing insights in collaboration with our customers and building narratives, research and marketing programs that advance the B2B marketing discourse.
A successful candidate will bring a deep empathy for customer needs, a strategic vision for B2B organizations and an assured leadership presence. This role also sits at the forefront of our efforts to cultivate a team of skilled, knowledgeable and confident marketers.
This person will be a core member of the LMS Marketing Leadership team and sit on XFN leadership teams across our Global Business Organization. If you want to write the future of B2B marketing, in concert with major firms and thought leaders, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Commune with the largest B2B brands in the world to intuitively understand their needs and sharpen those insights to inform all facets of our marketing practice
Work with sales leaders to develop an industry-defining go-to-market
Shape our learning agenda, deploying internal and external research resources
Lead in the development of narratives that coin new concepts in B2B and help our sales team win business
Develop marketing programs to captivate our top customers and move the B2B marketing conversation forward
This is a hybrid role, ideally based in London area with occasional in-office days (roughly 1x weekly)
Some travel will be required
Basic Qualifications
10+ years experience in a marketing function, ideally with oversight of narrative, thought leadership, research and customer engagement
5+ years experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
Combination of strategic marketing experiences and hands-on tactical execution
Experience with customer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy
Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment
Experience of working within a B2B marketing role and organization
Ability to frame insights and communicate recommendations simply and effectively.
Ability to effectively engage with and drive cross-functional teams to align around and achieve shared objectives (product, marketing, sales, insights, agencies etc.).
Ability to successfully balance multiple competing priorities and manage complex workstreams while consistently delivering results.
Excellent grasp of B2B marketing and digital marketing
Budget and vendor management experience
Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Excellent project management skills and able to influence partners in a fast-moving yet matrixed / cross-functional organization, with the skill to build and maintain relationships to achieve shared goals and drive measurable results
Experience working across functional marketing teams including Integrated Marketing, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing and Agency Marketing
