Colgate-Palmolive has ambitious growth goals in our 2025 Strategic Plan. We are reimagining the role of Global Procurement at Colgate-Palmolive to help enable this growth, reduce our environmental impact and deliver the financial goals of a $20B enterprise. The bold work of our function - This is an exciting time to be working in Procurement, as today’s dynamic business environment requires our agility to mitigate risk and our persistence to optimize cost. Procurement naturally adapts to ever-changing external conditions, and now is the opportunity to continue our track record of contributing to the top and bottom line. Given the consistent and high quality of our value delivery over the past few years, we will be asked to exceed this standard to mitigate the constant flow of new pressures in cost and services. Beyond the fundamentals - We need to not only be exceptional at executing the fundamentals, we must also define the future and continuously evolve to meet the needs of our changing environment - remaining relevant to support the business and reinventing ourselves for sustained competitive advantage. And of course, we are only half of the picture. Our suppliers are essential partners, segmented for capabilities, and are key to our success. We need to work more closely than ever with suppliers to source for efficiencies, co-create sustainable practices and bigger and better innovations. This places great demands on the skills and expertise of all of us as Procurement professionals.
