  The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization has a mission to create marketplace demand and drive commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative Ideas, products, partnerships, marketing, and customer experiences.

  OnBrand is American Express' In-House Creative agency, our agency is on journey for an exciting expansion. Our ambition is "Become creative partner-of-choice to build seamless customer experiences for our Business Units, essential for driving results and unlocking value through deeper knowledge of our business powered by industry-defining creative excellence". We are focused on developing forward thinking ideas and work across channels, end-to-end experiences in digital and beyond

  The Senior Digital Account Manager, OnBrand will report to the Account Director and lead a portfolio of digital marketing creative projects end-to-end, from intake briefing through creative concepting, execution, production, launch, and post-launch debriefing. As a Digital Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the digital marketing strategies and campaigns for our clients. They will work collaboratively with OnBrand creatives, producers, and project managers as well as Amex marketing business unit stakeholders, and external Integrated Agency Teams to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing initiatives.

  To be successful in this role, the candidate must have strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. They must be an excellent collaborator, self-starter, and have experience managing direct reports and leading teams to spearheading high-visibility digital initiatives.

  Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  Client Relationship Management:

  Leverage strong interpersonal skills to foster deep client relationships, build trust, and manage the day-to-day client requests with internal teamsCultivate new and existing relationships to drive business where relevantServe as the primary point of OnBrand contact for a given group of Marketers / Product Managers in their respective Business Unit portfolio.Understand client objectives, goals, and target audience to develop effective digital marketing strategies.

  Digital Strategy Development:

  Collaborate with creative strategy, UX/UI and other key cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience insights to inform digital campaign planning and optimization.Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign success.

  Campaign Management:

  Collaborate with project management and creative to oversee the creation and implementation of compelling digital content, including ad copy, visuals, landing pages, and user experiences.Collaborate with the analytics and insights teams to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms such as landing pages, display advertising, email marketing and social media,

  Team Collaboration:

  Collaborate with internal and external teams, including creative, media planning, and analytics, to ensure the seamless execution and of digital campaigns and post campaign analysis to optimize performance, and maximize ROI of digital campaigns.Provide guidance and support to direct report(s) and project management to ensure deliverables are met and projects are executed successfully. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

  Industry Expertise:

  Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.Share industry insights and thought leadership with clients and internal teams, advising on emerging opportunities and strategies.

  Qualifications:

  5+ years in account management at a leading digital creative agency or in-house brand with a proven track record of leading clients and managing direct reportsDemonstrated experience in managing client relationships and delivering excellent customer service.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), programmatic advertising, email marketing, and content marketing.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with briefing, creation, and production process of assets for multichannel campaignsFamiliarity with comScore, CRM tools, and other analytics or competitive intelligence toolsAbility to work with a daily Project Management tool (e.g., Workfront)

  Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

  The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

  Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
