　　Job Description

　　What your new role will entail;

　　AECOM are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineers to work on our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance where we have teamed up with Morrison Water Services to deliver Scottish Water’s SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme. You will be responsible for the following;

　　Provide technical design expertise to support a multi-disciplinary team which includes; Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical and Environmental

　　Responsible for providing technical expertise and support for all aspects of civil projects, from design to implementation, ensuring that they comply with Scottish Water and Water Industry specifications.

　　Carrying out site visits, non-intrusive surveys and inspection assessments

　　Prepare and check design approaches, calculations, drawings, and technical reports while adhering to SW Specification & Standards and following CDM Health & Safety procedures.

　　Supervise and mentor less experienced or junior engineers while liaising with the construction delivery team to provide solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.

　　Liaise with clients to obtain relevant technical consents as part of the engineering process, keep up-to-date with industry best practices, and identify innovation/best practices for consideration when appropriate.

　　Comply with CWA Quality Assurance procedures.

　　Being part of the team;

　　You will key to the Improving Urban Waters programme for our client, Scottish Water as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO’s, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, Sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges.

　　You will be part of a diverse team of around 30x Civil Engineers and CAD Technicians, with support from specialist Designers from within the AECOM and CWA communities.

　　We promote staff development and progression, and there are many development opportunities within CWA. CWA offers a unique opportunity to deliver the full project cycle, from concept design through to detailed design, and delivery!

　　Qualifications

　　Here's what we will need from you;

　　BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering.

　　Experience of working within water or wastewater infrastructure is preferable but we are open to related sectors.

　　Sound technical knowledge of industry standards and specifications and an understanding of CDM Regulations.

　　Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineering status (CEng/ IEng), or equivalent relevant experience.
