NDT Level II Technician Job Locations US-MN-St. Paul ID 2023-12866 Overview Element has an opportunity for Level 2 (II) NDT Technician. The primary function of the NDT Technician is to perform equipment verifications and conduct testing in accordance with procedures approved by the NDT Level III. Interprets, evaluates and documents test results and supervises work performed by Trainees and Level I Technicians. Responsibilities Conducts a variety of tests using established methods Tasks are performed both in the laboratory and off site Prepares test specimens, sets up and adjusts test equipment and records test data Analyzes and interprets test data Maintains related test equipment, tools, and machinery in good working condition Other duties as assigned Extended hours, multiple shift hours when needed for project demands Skills / Qualifications Two years of technical / vocational training in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Level II Qualification and or Certification in RT required and other methods - PT, MT, UT experience preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, customer testing specifications, and procedure manuals Must have valid Drivers License, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community, with customers and within the company #LI-SN1 Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
