Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Deployment Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA.
Salary range 120-130k with outstanding benefit package.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Configuration and installation of remote customer networks
Site surveys
Gathering customer requirements
Placing circuit orders
Interfacing with the customer throughout the deployment process
Create and implement router and switch Configurations
Create and maintain Visio network diagrams
Provide recommendations to enhance and improve the network and performance
Provide system wide engineering support for network conflicts, troubleshooting, and resolution
Basic Qualifications:
Requires Bachelors degree in (Computer Science, Math or Engineering) or equivalent and 4+ years of experience. A degree can be substituted by additional 4 years experience.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+CE or equivalent) required
DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire. Cisco or Microsoft certification. Company training provided.
Strong network and CISCO background
Must be willing to travel within the U.S. up to 75% and requires infrequent 5-10% OCONUS travel
Valid US Passport and Driver's License required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Customers Systems
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active TS-SCI clearance adjudicated within last 6 years.
Candidate must be willing to submit for a random CI Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
Must be able to position self to maintain office supplies on variable height shelving.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Frequently moves Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
Must be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy
The projected compensation range for this position is $90,600-$150,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
