About Senior Contracts Representative

  As a Senior Contracts Representative, you will report directly to the Regional Assistant General Counsel and play a pivotal role in our business unit's contractual processes. You will be responsible for leading negotiations, ensuring compliance, and driving successful outcomes for complex commercial agreements.

You are part of a team of business impact partners located all around the world negotiating agreements with Honeywell customers and suppliers. You ensure that final contractual documents drive growth and include all deal parameters approved in accordance with respective approval processes and Honeywell business is conducted with the highest ethical standards, internal company policies and local and international laws.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Advises internal customer

  • Interprets terms

  • Negotiates contracts

  • Drafts agreements

  • Facilitates cross-functional review

  • Assists in resolving disputes

  • Settles claims

  • Identifies risk in agreements

  • Escalates non-standard terms

  • Focus on speed of contracting

  • Ensures compliance with Honeywell policies and procedures

  • Collaborates on corporate initiatives

  • Reduces inefficienciesYOU MUST HAVE

  • JD with at least 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating major commercial contracts in a multi-national corporation or law firm

  OR

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10+ years of experience drafting and negotiating major commercial contracts in a multi-national corporation.

  WE VALUE

  • Experience in structuring, drafted and negotiating software, hardware and technology agreements; EPC experience is valuable

  • Integrity and strong focus on compliance

  • Claim management and dispute resolution experience is highly advantageous

  • Strong focus on integrity and compliance and experience implementing corporate policies and processes

  • Proven expertise in risk management to reduce legal and financial exposure

  • Attention to detail and ability to work across functions

  • Solid analytical skills and strong business acumen

  • Sound business judgment and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize work within time constraints

  • Drive efficiencies and process improvements

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Superior communications skills (both oral and written)

  • Ability to work team members and clients located in different locations
