As our new Senior CI Specialist, you will become part of the factory management team at our Electronics factory in Bjerringbro, where we produce Control boxes for motors and pumps. The electronics factory must be fully involved when it comes to defining tomorrow's production, taking advantage of the opportunity’s there comes with digitization. In addition, we are looking into a future with many large projects. You will refer directly to Plant Director Ole Rasmussen.
What is the job about?
As Sr. CI Specialist, your goal is to deliver improvements across the factory's KPIs, although the primary focus is direct effect on quality, inventory and costs. Partly with a focus on production technical solutions, but also through digitalization, which ensures optimal production flow and efficiency. You will drive and facilitate improvement processes, workshops and projects – large and small. Your working day will be varied and offer problems that require interdisciplinary cooperation. At the same time, the day will offer in-depth tasks related to analysis and project planning.
Your main responsibilities
Your two primary goals are, firstly, to deliver improvements and secondly that we develop according to Grundfos' framework for excellent production - in the daily Grundfos Production System. Success in this job largely depends on your ability to facilitate and manage projects. You will have contact with many different actors and your ability to form relationships is therefore crucial. You must be willing to work a lot on-site on the production floor.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
• A background as engineer, machine engineer or similar
• A deep experience with lean and improvement methodologies
Furthermore, you speak and write English fluently.
You thrive with a broad contact surface and are good at creating relationships with stakeholders at different levels in the organization. In order to find the best solutions, you are able to involve others and utilize their skills - and then you dare to ask questions about the state of things, make a decision and follow it through.
