Boston Scientific is in search of a strategic, collaborative, and seasoned Senior Content Strategist for our Cardiology business. This role presents an exciting opportunity to craft compelling content experiences that engage and motivate Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Cardiac Diagnostics & Services (CDS). TheSenior Content Strategistis passionate about understanding the intersection of our customers' needs and the relevant, useful stories that capture their attention and motivate them to enrich their understanding of our offerings. This individual must have a take-charge spirit to collaborate cross-functionally and translate business and marketing objectives into effective communication and measurable content strategies across a wide array of digital channels. Additionally, this rolewill work closely with the Digital Experience team to ensure content aligns to channel best practices and to drive consistent implementation of optimization recommendations. This is a role for an individual contributor leader who can think strategically, while also rolling up their sleeves to drive key execution of their set strategies. Qualified candidates are fluent in today's digital marketing ecosystem and how to apply it to content development. Key areas include, but are not limited to, Omnichannel Marketing, Marketing Automation, Email, Programmatic Advertising, Organic and Paid Social. This role will report to the Group Marketing Manager, CRMDx Customer Activation. This opportunity is available for remote work to candidates residing beyond a commutable distance from our Arden Hills/Maple Grove, MN offices. Candidates within a commutable distance to an office location will follow a hybrid schedule. Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio (content strategy, planning process, and end results/output) as part of the interview process. Your responsibilities will include: Identify key points of differentiation, reasons to believe and benefits-driven messaging themes through partnership with product marketing. Lead cross-functional collaboration to establish consensus on program content strategy, target audience communication journey and measurable content goals. Lead and take ownership of the development of a customer-centric content strategy for key HCP audience segments, informed by user research and customer personas. Create segmented and personalized content marketing plans aligned with the customer journey and relevant audience insights. Collaborate with agency partners to craft message maps, define brand strategies and create compelling content. Develop a proposed high-level budget for content creation in partnership with the Omnichannel Manager and Digital Experience teams that captures core asset and channel content requirements. Author creative briefs and lead kickoffs for designers, digital producers, agencies, copywriters, and project management (customer activation specialists). Generate ideas independently and collaborate with key team members to recommend foundational content assets that serve as the center of an omnichannel system that deliver the right message to the right person at the right time in the right channel. Translate existing content into new opportunities across communication channels via in-market performance insights. Plan, document, and maintain content guidelines while educating others on best practices and trends for marketing programs. artner with analytics resources to test content types, creative approaches, demonstrate the value of content marketing, and provide regular reports. Build, activate, and manage cross-functional relationships with Product Marketing, Digital Experience, Design, Marketing Automation, IT, and other relevant teams. Serve as a thought leader by sharing knowledge and best practices with team and cross-functional stakeholders. Continually identify innovative ways to create and distribute content. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or another relevant field. 5-7 years of content strategy experience, preferably in an agency or med device, pharma, biotech, or other regulated healthcare environment. Proven experience in developing measurable content planning and executing content marketing programs aligned with customer journeys. Preferred Qualifications: Independent, self-starter capable of effectively managing time and projects to meet deliverable dates. Proven experience in driving content projects from conception through production and optimization. Strong entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style to effectively drive decisions and move work forward Meticulous attention to accuracy, detail, deadlines and budgets Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and adapt to changing priorities Ability to think strategically, while also managing the details, deadlines and budgets.
