A Place to Be Proud.ResponsibilitiesConducts job evaluations utilizing internal and external salary statistics, and proposes recommendations on appropriate classifications and pay bands while handling highly confidential employee data.Works with department leaders to create and apply employee compensation and incentive plans to maintain and attract talent.Recommends and assists in the development and implementation of appropriate employee compensation structures.Performs compensation related duties such as salary survey completion, annual wage & salary budget survey, and competing vendor information requests.Communicates with and counsels managers and talent acquisition partners regarding compensation policy and assists in making appropriate changes in HRIS system.Interacts with all levels of hospital staff to resolve problems, gather information and provide assistance in compensation & benefit related matters.Ensures Compliance with federal and state regulations and laws.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSkills:Strong interpersonal skills require. Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office. High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.Experience:Three to five years of human resources/compensation experience, preferably in a health care setting.The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
