  Team/Department Description:

  Within Global Corporate Affairs at Moody's, the Communications teams are responsible for inspiring and enabling meaningful connections among their stakeholders. The Employee Communications & Executive Visibility team engages employees globally through storytelling experiences to strengthen Moody's culture and brand perception.

  Role/Responsibilities:

  Your strategic storytelling expertise will help us share and influence the opportunities arising naturally from rapid transformation and growth across our company. Your work will focus on helping our colleagues better understand our primary lines of business, enable meaningful outcomes and achieve results. More broadly, through our communications work we aim to inspire action and strengthen Moody's corporate culture. You will collaborate with teammates across Global Corporate Affairs, offering strategic communications counsel and solutions to partners across our business to help transform the way employees think, act and lead. Integral to the role will be leading and advocating for ongoing enhancements to the processes and systems enabling our work. You'll also help advance and implement the strategic vision for our growing team, building on your experience to help us think outside of the box and achieve our company's shared priorities. Key responsibilities include:

  Relationship management

  Provide proactive communications counsel as a relationship manager to senior partners in our lines of business, distilling ideas, strategies, and results succinctly and persuasively in a meaningful way to inform and inspire Moody's colleagues.

  Build relationships across the company to connect employees with corporate initiatives through comprehensive narratives, creative stories, and integrated communications strategies.

  Serve as a trusted advisor, counsellor, and coach to senior executives, working with them to increase their impact as brand advocates and guide them through strategic internal and external positioning.

  Partner with Corporate Affairs colleagues to help individual executives develop their voice in an authentic, engaging, and substantive manner.

  Influence and inspire teams of storytellers across a range of communications areas, from content development to execution.

  Content Development & Implementation

  Design, create and execute communications strategies and content that articulates our employee value proposition and empowers our colleagues.

  Manage the strategic deployment of user-centric communications focused on creating sustained, meaningful connections and conversations among employees.

  Develop and hone content aligned with our tone and style, ensuring it is clear, concise, and compelling.

  Identify, monitor and manage key metrics to assess the ongoing effectiveness of our communications efforts with a focus on finding opportunities for improvement.

  Qualifications:

  The ideal candidate is a dynamic communications professional with a demonstrated track record of success in a global organization and proven leadership in communications strategy development and implementation. They will have a bachelor's degree with approximately 5+ years of communications and/or marketing experience.

  Other qualifications include:

  Experience developing and implementing comprehensive internal communication strategies with large corporations using various communication mediums.

  Exceptional writing and editing ability, as well as high attention to detail.

  Strong leadership skills and executive presence, complementing deep technical communication skills along with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations, as well as build lasting rapport through interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  Broad knowledge of common and innovative communication and event channels and trends, as well as an understanding of how they contribute to employee engagement - this includes content management systems, collaborations tools and user experience principals.

  Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to develop original content and programs with minimal guidance, coupled with appreciation for scalable processes to ensure efficient execution.

  Ability to prioritize and navigate a variety of activities in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment coupled with strong organizational skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously, while also managing and mitigating risk instinctively.

  Experience as a trusted advisor to high-level executives is ideal.

  For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$90,000]] to [[$130,500]] , depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
